April is National Military Appreciation Month and Southside wants to show how thankful we are to have brave men and women serving our country. We will create cards to send to our military. Here is a video to get you thinking.
Step 1: Fold your paper in half, like a hamburger. You can have the seam on the TOP or on the LEFT side.
Step 2: Open your card, write a sentence (or more!) to say “thank you.” Some words you might use are: thank you, help, service, appreciate, hard work, dedication, military, family. If you don’t know how to spell a word, as a friend or me.
Step 3: Draw a picture on the front. Remember, we want to show how thankful we are for the military’s service. Color your drawing and make it your best work.
